Rotation Eng & Mfg at the 2025 Design-2-Part Show.
Earlier this month, Rotation Engineering and Manufacturing participated in one of the best trade shows in the metal parts manufacturing sector – the 2025 Greater Chicago Design-2-Part Show (D2P). The event brought together industry leaders, suppliers, and decision-makers from around the Midwest, creating the perfect environment for networking and collaboration. For Rotation, it was a great opportunity to showcase our capabilities in metal stamping and fabrication—and the response was overwhelmingly positive.
Throughout the event, we spoke with companies across industries such as automotive, logistics, medical, industrial machinery, and consumer goods. What we found was a clear and growing need: businesses are actively searching for reliable U.S.-based partners who can deliver high-quality metal components with consistent precision and speed. From prototypes to high-volume production, Rotation’s flexibility and experience made an impression on many potential clients.
Our team spent the show highlighting our full-service approach—covering everything from tooling and CNC machining to fabrication, finishing and assembly. Visitors to our booth were particularly interested in our ability to handle complex projects of varying sizes, all while maintaining competitive lead times.
The trade show was a great opportunity to get a pulse on where the industry is headed. It’s clear that demand is shifting toward more customized, efficient production solutions, and Rotation is well-positioned to meet that need.
We’re excited about the new partnerships formed and the conversations started during the show. As we follow up in the weeks ahead, we’re confident that this event will mark a significant step forward in Rotation’s continued growth and reach in the metal parts manufacturing space.
